Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth service delivery
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Monitor and maintain food quality standards and presentation
- Coordinate between front of house and kitchen teams
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and manage front of house and support staff
- Create staff schedules and manage labour costs effectively
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching
- Foster a positive team culture and high staff morale
- Delegate responsibilities and empower team members
- Organize regular team meetings and training sessions
- Handle disciplinary procedures when necessary
Financial Management
- Achieve revenue targets and control operational costs
- Monitor daily sales figures and analyse performance trends
- Manage inventory levels and ordering systems
- Control food costs, waste, and portion sizes
- Prepare and manage budgets and financial reports
- Handle cash management and banking procedures
- Implement strategies to maximize profitability
Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained
- Build relationships with regular customers and local community
- Handle VIP guests and special dining requirements
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements

Essential Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years management experience in restaurant or hospitality sector
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and managing P&L
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and licensing laws
- Experience with restaurant POS systems and management software
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations
