About the Role

As a key member of our service team, you'll be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they arrive until they leave. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Present menus and explain daily specials with enthusiasm and knowledge
Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests efficiently
Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism
Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergen information
Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the dining experience
Process payments accurately including cash, card, and digital payments
Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained throughout service
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
Follow all health and safety procedures
Keep service areas clean and organized
Reset tables efficiently between guests
Assist with opening and closing duties
Maintain stock levels of service items
Support team members during busy periods

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Positive, friendly attitude with genuine enthusiasm for hospitality
Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and bills
Team player who can also work independently
Professional appearance and manner
